**Frequently Asked Questions**
**What is the dosing schedule for KESIMPTA?**
Take 1 dose per week for the first 3 weeks, skip the 4th week, then take your first monthly dose on the 5th week and continue once a month after that.
**Where can I inject KESIMPTA?**
You can inject in the abdomen or front of the thigh if self-injecting; a caregiver can also inject in the outer upper arm. Avoid areas where the skin is tender, bruised, red, scaly, hard, or has moles, scars, or stretch marks.
**How do I prepare the KESIMPTA Sensoready Pen before injecting?**
Remove the pen from the refrigerator 15 to 30 minutes before use to reach room temperature, visually inspect for expiration date and liquid clarity, clean the injection site, and twist off the cap only when ready to inject (use within 5 minutes).
**What are the steps to inject KESIMPTA?**
Press the pen firmly against your skin at 90 degrees, wait for the first click to start the injection, hold until the second click and the green indicator stops moving, then remove the pen. Dispose of the used pen in an FDA-cleared sharps container.
**Are premedications required before taking KESIMPTA?**
No premedications are required, and there is no first dose observation needed. Only limited benefit of premedication with corticosteroids, antihistamines, or acetaminophen was seen in RMS clinical studies.
**How should I store KESIMPTA?**
KESIMPTA Sensoready Pens must be refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) and kept in the original carton to protect from light. If necessary, they may be stored at room temperature below 30°C (86°F) for up to 7 days.
